The Centre linguistique de Jonquiere offers both spring and summer immersion programs.  The summer session runs from July 2nd to August 2nd and is open to students ages 16-18.  Students stay with either a host family or in a residence setting and the course combines a combination of in-class instruction and cultural activities.  For more information see Mrs. Ward-Cain or visit www.langues-jonquiere.ca

Information about the 2013-2014 House of Commons Page Program is now available from Mrs. Ward-Cain.  Students must be a 2013 High School graduate and must be studying at a post-secondary institution in the Ottawa region.  To find out more about the program visit www.parl.gc.ca/homepage.

Academy of Learning will be offering Summer School for School District 16. Students in Grades 9-12 who fail no more than 2 courses may be eligible to attend.  Courses offered are English and Math, but may include others is minimum registration is met.  The cost is $260.00 per course and each class has a duration of 2.5 hours daily, for 5 weeks.  To be eligible to register students must have achieved a minimum mark of 45% and must have signed permission from the Principal, Vice-Principal or Guidance Counselor, as well as a parent/guardian.  For more information or application forms, see Mrs. Ward-Cain.
