Good morning,
Welcome to the final post for Home learning, I have included the vocabulary and discussion questions for this weeks "To Kill a Mockingbird" chapters (19, 20, 21)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBNj0DBTFHk. As well as a shortened version of what a potential unit test would have looked like if we were still in the classroom. There is no pressure to complete this, however, if anyone chooses to finish the novel it is a nice way to check your understanding. As always, please let me know if you have any questions. Good morning, once again we are continuing on with "To Kill a Mockingbird". We will not have enough time to finish the novel through home learning so next week I will post some ideas for things you can complete or think about if you do choose to finsih the novel over the summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frm8abRGHVw Chapter 16 starts at 19:43.

Good morning, if we were able to complete culinary tech in the classroom we would have been baking some bread. Since that is out of the question for us and you do not have your textbooks at home, I have summarized the chapter on Yeast Dough Production and included a couple questions at the end. If you have the ingredients at home and some time on your hands by all means attempt some bread making. Nothing makes the house smell any better. As always let me know how you make out and do not get frustrated if it doesn't turn out perfectly on the first try. As you will see there is a lot that goes into making bread.

Welcome to week 6, I quickly want to clarify that it is not too late to complete the credit version of culinary tech (this is just an option) but if you are looking to get the credit as opposed to an enrolled on your report card I NEED to see your weekly work so please email me at deidre.underhill@nbed.nb.ca. Only completing the final cookbook assignment is NOT enough to satisfy the credit requirement.
This week we will be completing a quick assignment looking at professionalism in the food service industry.

Happy Monday everyone, this week I have included a journal topic with our vocabulary and discussion questions. This novel gives us a lot to think about and more often than not it is helpful to write our ideas down, again I absolutely love hearing your thoughts so feel free to email me journal entries or anything about the novel you would like to discuss further deidre.underhill@nbed.nb.ca. This week we are looking at chapters 10, 11 and 12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iksrwOZ6ifU.
