In December, NSER won the Canada 150 Student Legacy Grant in support of the Miramichi Community Food Bank. With these funds we are expanding our Community Garden and building a Four-Season Greenhouse and WE NEED YOUR HELP. 

The Ville Cooperative has partnered with NSER and,    with their background and experience in community development, will lead us in building our garden. 

Your role? We need volunteers:

- carpenters (and carpenter assistants)

- electricians 

- plumbers

- labourers to lay cardboard (the base of our garden) and to shovel & rake

Our complete project includes a four-season greenhouse, garden shed, raised garden beds, and a water catchment system. 

The date for our Volunteer Day will either be the first or second Saturday in June. We will get the word out when it is finalized. This is a community project to support those in need in our community.
