It is estimated that each day in Canada 11 people end their life and 210 make a suicide attempt.

The pain that leads individuals to take their lives is unimaginable. Their deaths leave countless family and friends bereaved and their communities impacted.

Our regional Suicide Prevention Committee is hosting our 3rd annual Walk of Courage & Treasure Hunt of HOPE around the Newcastle Town Square on Sunday September 10th from 2 to 5 pm.

Our Walk of Courage is an opportunity to spread the message that help, hope, and healing are possible.

Please join The Suicide Prevention Committee in the challenge of making a symbolic HUMAIN LINK of SUPPORT all the way around the Town Square a 3:30 pm in memory of those we lost to suicide
