GTI Broker Group’s Leader of the Pack Scholarship program recognizes the contribution of our community builders of tomorrow.Awarded annually, the scholarship is valued at $2,000. The deadline to apply is June 30th, 2018. 

Completed applications must include the following:

*Demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to his/her community through initiating

innovative community projects and/or volunteerism.

• Letter of recommendation from your current school, written and signed by principal, teacher or

guidance counsellor (no electronic signatures).

• Letter of recommendation from community group or individual(s) that you supported (no

electronic signatures). If your community project was affiliated with your school, it is acceptable to have

two letters of recommendation from your school.

• Official Transcripts (most recent).

The New Brunswick College of Craft and Design will be hosting an Open House event on Saturday, March 24th, from 10:00 to 3:00.  Students will have an opportunity to meet with instructors and to learn more about the 2018/19 programs.  Pre-registration is required and seating is limited. Applications are now available in the Guidance Centre for the Marilyn Doyle Memorial Scholarship. Students applying for this scholarship must have one parent/guardian who is an active member of the Beaubear Co-Op.  Deadline for applications is May 1st, 2018.

Tha National Union of Public Employees offers five scholarships of $1500.00 each to students who plan to enter their first year of post-secondary education.  These scholarships are open to children/grandchildren of a National Union member and the criteria for consideration vary from scholarship to scholarship.  For more information visit the Guidance Centre or visit https://nupge.ca/content/national-unions-scholarship-program-2018. One graduate from each High School will receive the $2000 Big Brothers Big Sisters / Boys & Girls Club Scholarship.

 

Criteria for selection:

 

  1. Financial need:  you need financial support to go to College or University.
    Tell us about your situation and include the paperwork listed in the application.
  2. Volunteering – you give your time to help others.
    Tell us about your volunteer work; where do you help out in the community?

 

 

To be eligible for the scholarship you must:

 

  • demonstrate financial need to go to post-secondary school
  • be a 2018 High School Graduate
  • be registered in a program at a University, College, or Trade School for the next school year
  • maintain a minimum average of 75%

Applications are now available in the Guidance Centre and online for the New Brunswick Public Colleges Entrance Scholarship. Applications are now open for the Sweet Caroline Scholarship.  This Foundation supprts community awareness and education about anaphalaxsis and food allergies.  The applicant need not have food allergies but must have a strong understanding or food allergies and be involved in raising awareness and educating others.  More information is also available at http://www.sweetcarolinefoundation.ca/.  The deadline for applications is June 8, 2018.
