Graduation Information
  Provincial Artisans’ bursaries and scholarships are awarded annually to successful recipients with disabilities meeting the necessary criteria. These being:
  • Entering or already attending a university, college or other educational institute

  • Extent of disability

  • Academic performance

  • Academic dedication

  • Financial need

  • Community involvement

  • Resident of New Brunswick

  • The application is available for download here. Final submission for applications is May 31st. Notification to successful candidates is by June 30th of the current year with cheques being sent upon receipt of confirmation from the educational institution that tuition has been paid.

Selection by Provincial Artisans Scholarship Committee.

IWK - The Future Health & Innovation Scholarship

IWK - The Future Health & Innovation Scholarship These annual scholarships are open to grade 12 students who plan on continuing their education at a Maritime post-secondary institution in a field that will enhance health research or innovation. Applicants are required to write an essay demonstrating their interest in health-related research and innovation and how it will improve the health and well-being of children, women and families in the Maritimes

Indspire Ted Rogers Scholarship

From Indspire........... In partnership with Rogers, we have a scholarship that is specifically for soon to graduate Canadian Indigenous high school students who are entering college or university for the very first time. Eligible students must have proof of Indigenous Identity and be planning to take a minimum full time two-year program or a full-time four-year program. Best of all, it’s renewable! A Schulich Leader Nominee represents the top entrepreneurial-minded STEM student in your graduating class and in turn becomes eligible to win a $100,000 or $80,000 scholarship.

This dynamic student demonstrates:

  1. Academic excellence, AND
  2. Leadership, charisma and creativity.

Strong consideration will be given to students with financial need.

 

NSER is able to nominate one candidate for this scholarship.  Please read criteria closely and if you meet the criteria and would like to be nominated, please write a one page essay on why you feel you should be chosen as NSER's nominee.  Please submit to Mrs. Pitre by Jan. 21st.  Please see below website for criteria and futher information on the Schulich Leader Scholarship.

The TD Scholarship for Community Leadership awards students up to $70,000 for college or university (up to $10,000 for tuition per year, $7,500 a year for living expenses) for 4 years. It’s open to students across Canada who:

  • Have demonstrated community leadership
  • Are in final year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec)
  • Have a minimum overall grade average of 75% in their most recently completed school year
