John Eisner Financial Literacy Scholarship

  • Applicant must intend to enroll in an accredited institution for the 2023-2024 school year.
  • Completed application form and video submission. Full criteria is in attached document.
  • Deadline is May 5, 2023.

Video Topics:

Record an original 60-second video depicting your views on one of the following topics:

Option #1 How important is financial literacy to your future and how will you equip yourself with the knowledge you need to make good financial decisions? What are you doing that demonstrates and promotes financial wellness?

Option #2 What fundamental financial education concepts and skills have you learned or developed to better manage your finances. What practices do you have in place and what future goals are you working towards to help you achieve financial stability?

The IWK Foundation invites applications for the Robbie and Jean Shaw Scholarship. This award consists of a scholarship valued at a minimum of $2,000.

Provincial Artisan's Bursary and Scholarships

  Provincial Artisans’ bursaries and scholarships are awarded annually to successful recipients with disabilities meeting the necessary criteria. These being:

  • Entering or already attending a university, college or other educational institute

  • Extent of disability

  • Academic performance

  • Academic dedication

  • Financial need

  • Community involvement

  • Resident of New Brunswick

  • The application is available for download here. Final submission for applications is May 31st. Notification to successful candidates is by June 30th of the current year with cheques being sent upon receipt of confirmation from the educational institution that tuition has been paid.

Selection by Provincial Artisans Scholarship Committee.

Applicants are required to write an essay demonstrating their interest in health-related research and innovation and how it will improve the health and well-being of children, women and families in the Maritimes

Indspire Ted Rogers Scholarship

In partnership with Rogers, we have a scholarship that is specifically for soon to graduate Canadian Indigenous high school students who are entering college or university for the very first time. Eligible students must have proof of Indigenous Identity and be planning to take a minimum full time two-year program or a full-time four-year program. Best of all, it’s renewable! Newcastle Rotary Club Charitable Trust Memorial Scholarship, please see criteria and application form.

Schulich Leader Nomination

A Schulich Leader Nominee represents the top entrepreneurial-minded STEM student in your graduating class and in turn becomes eligible to win a $100,000 or $80,000 scholarship.

This dynamic student demonstrates:

  1. Academic excellence, AND
  2. Leadership, charisma and creativity.

Strong consideration will be given to students with financial need.

 

NSER is able to nominate one candidate for this scholarship.  Please read criteria closely and if you meet the criteria and would like to be nominated, please write a one page essay on why you feel you should be chosen as NSER's nominee.  Please submit to Mrs. Pitre by Jan. 21st.  Please see below website for criteria and futher information on the Schulich Leader Scholarship.
