NSER has teamed up with the Canadian Teachers' Federation to help develop a student discussion booklet on the topics of mental health and stigma.  Students' contributions would be included in a lesson plan booklet that would be ditributed to teachers across Canada.  We are looking for students who would like to volunteer to participate in this program, through a forum style discussion and creative reflections (art, poetry etc.).

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Matthew Sturgeon, Career Counselor at the James M. Hill Workroom,  will be visiting NSER once a week to assist students with career planning skills.  He will be working with Grade 11 and 12 students either individually or in small groups on such skills as resume writing, interview skills, apprenticeship programs and job search techniques.  For more information or to sign up for the program, please see Mrs. Ward-Cain.

ASD-N District Education Council has recommended that NSEE and NSER be left the same with no further study for at least 4 years.
