In the North Division of the Sr. Boys “A” Soccer Regular League action there were 6 teams who played 10 games each. Teams were from as far away as Dalhousie, Stanley, Blackville, Central NB, Baie Sainte-Anne and Sunny Corner. IN this regular season action, we saw one of our very own, Jimmy Lawlor score his 30th goal. Way to go Jimmy!
NSER Finished regular season play with a record of 6 wins, 3 ties and 1 loss.
For the first time in NSER history, the Sr. Boys Cobras soccer team went to the Regional Tournament this past weekend. Not only is this the first time going to Regionals, but the boys came out winning and are headed to the Provincials on November 5th and are hoping to keep their winning ways. After years of struggling and heart break, the boys came together this year with a strong squad.
To help with the team chemistry and winning ways, exchange student Gustavo Bassani contributed massively with scoring 2 regular season goals and controlling the midfield and working well together with the Captain Jimmy Lawlor.
