“Stress-less Wednesdays” at NSER

As part of our ongoing goal to focus on student and staff wellness, NSER hosted its first “Stress-less Wednesday” on March 28.  The purpose of this afternoon was to introduce students to various hobbies and activities that could benefit their overall wellness.  Students had the opportunity to participate in various activities, including badminton, painting, knitting, yoga, Indigenous crafts, fly tying, and woodworking.  Most sessions were led by NSER teachers and staff, and this gave the students a chance to see what we do to help with for own stress relief and wellness. On April 4th students will get a chance to participate in a second wellness activity.
