Please email Mr. Silliker (dax.silliker@nbed.nb.ca) by April 25th, 2020 if you wish to sign up to complete the requirments for Credit in English and History 113

Credit requirements for History 113 and English 113

In order to receive credit for the above courses, students must complete a series of assignments and submit them to Mr. Silliker (via email)

A brief overview of requirements:

For History 113, you will need to complete a research assignment for the following units.  The outlines will be put on my teacher page or can be emailed directly to you once we get green light to begin credit work.

-Industrial Revolution

-The Roaring Twenties and Dirty Thirties

-World War I

-Totalitarianism and WWII

For English 113, you will be completing a Writing Folder which requires 10 different pieces to be passed in.  There will be a series of topics to chose from to complete these different forms of writing. The Writing Folder outline will be put on my teacher page or can be emailed directly to you once we get green light to begin credit work.

*The English and History 113 courses have been combined this semester to achieve required outcomes.  As such, you must complete all requirements for both courses and will be awarded credit for both classes provided the quality of your work is acceptable.  This will complete our Reading/Viewing and Writing/Representing Outcomes, Speaking/Listening have already been assessed during our time together this year.

Please note that this will require more time than the 2.5-3 suggested hours per course each week.  Rightfully so of course because this will give you credit and not just enrolled.  If you have questions about this email me.
