The Middle School Science Fair was held in the Cafeteria on Wednesday, March 17 for grades 7 & 8.  Students displayed a variety of projects and experiments, some of which were started over a month ago.  There were 42 projects in total and three winners were chosen from each grade, based on the evidence of scientific thought, originality, communication and impressions/value.  The overall winners were:   Grade 7 -- Riley Esty & Alexa Mutch -- "Fingerprints"                 Nathanial Pitcher -- "Powerplay"                 Wade Mutch & Eric Henderson -- "Air Out"   Grade 8 -- Evan Hare & Colton Hogan -- "Smelly Curds"                 Rashad Gopee & Hayden Silliker -- "Earthquake"                 Dayne Kenny & Makayla Mullin -- "How Smartie Are You?"   Thank-you to the NSEE grade 6 students and the NSER classes that attended.  Also thank-you to the other guests and parents who visited the fair.  We appreciate your support!   The 11 students will represent NSER at the District Science Fair at Harkins Middle School on Thursday, March 25.  We wish them luck and recognize the hard work of all the students over the past few weeks!
