NSER will be offering an Outdoor Education Club this year and as such is in need of equipment for students to use. We will be focusing mainly on the area of Fly Fishing and are looking for donations of old equipment (rods, reels, lines, flies, fly tying gear, etc.) that community members may not have use for. Donations can be dropped off at the school or picked up if you wish.
We will also be starting an exciting new course at the school this year. Outdoor Pursuits 110 will allow students the opportunity to gain a practical and theoretical knowledge of the outdoors. As this is a new program, we are looking to build an inventory of equipment for students to use who may not own the required gear. Old Sleeping bags, backpacks, compasses, snowshoes, cross country skis, etc. Donations of any old outdoor gear that you, or someone you know, may not have use for anymore would be greatly appreciated and help add to the total outdoor experience.
If you have any questions about the Outdoor Education Club or Outddoor Pursuits class please contact Mr. Dax Silliker.
