The computer lab is booked for you today to finish working on your storytelling assignment. You need to select a traditional story (fable, folk talk, fairy tale, legend), and put your own spin on it (comic strip, story bird, rewrite it for modern times, act it out like a sit com, etc). For those that would like to share with the class, we will do so next period.

When you finish, check out Michael de Adder's website. Michael was born in Moncton, studied at Mount A, and now draws political cartoons that are viewed by millions every week. Look through some of his drawings, and pick one that interests you. Add it to a word document or powerpoint slide, and then write a reflection to go along with it. Why did de Adder draw this? What in the news was going on at the time? Is it political? Cultural? Both? Neither?
