Hello NSER Students,

The situation in the world today has affcted almost everyone on the planet. The COVID-19 Pandemic has halted or disrupted every area of our lives.  For this reason the learning environment of our school system has changed dramatically. We will no longer be able to meet in the classroom and to this event I and the rest of the NSER teachers will be facilitating your learning on-line using first of all Teacher Pages.

The days before the closure of the school our World Issues class were creating a Powerpoint presentation on the"5 major world issues".  The presentations were going to explain your reason for choosing the first issue over the second issue and so on.  The key to this assignment was for you to be very clear on why you chose one issue over the other, on each slide you were required to type a reason.

I would like you the students of World Issues 120 to continue this presentation and on completion email the Powerpoint file to mitchell.linkletter@nbed.nb.ca

Hello Grade 9 students of NSER. Welcome to the new home learning as it relates to science in Grade 9.  The class has been studying the cell biology specifically focused on the nucleus of the cell and genetics.  We will now be investigating the growth of a plant by all participating in a At-home experiment.  The first requirement of this activity is to start with what you already know about what plants need to live.  The first home learning assignment is to make a list of all the things plants need to grow and email the list to mitchell.linkletter@nbed.nb.ca

Use the internet or your parents for a complete list.

You can begin the collection of materials needed for the experiment:

  1. yellow bean seeds (20) (Other type of seed is possible but similar size seed would be good)
  2.  sandwich bags or clear bag any size
  3.  paper towel
  4.  water
  5.  ruler

The next step for this At-home experiment will be given shortly.

Keep Safe!

Wondering how everyone is doing?

I have been self isolating over the last 3 weeks and have no signs of any illness.

Just wanted to touch base with everyone and say " I miss you!"
