Criteria: A student from NSER who has been accepted into a Civil or Environmental Technology program in the fall or who has a parent who is a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Union. 

Deadline: Please submit your name to Carla.pitre@nbed.nb.ca by June 3rd explaining how you are eligible.

The attached presentation is now available on the student loan website at studentaid.gnb.ca

It’s titled “Presentation on student loans for high school graduates” and can be found under “Before you apply”

 

For students who plan to attend the Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB), the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (NBCCD) or the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) have to submit their application to your high school Guidance Office by May 28.  Please see application attached.

 As a non-profit organization, our vision is long-term financial wellness for all.  With our scholarship program, we aim to improve financial literacy among youth in Atlantic Canada and to help reduce the burden of student debt.  We award multiple $1,000 scholarships to winning applicants each year and have awarded over $200,000 in scholarship funds to date. 

The deadline for this year’s submissions is April 15th, 2022. 

 We know there are so many deserving students in Atlantic Canada and welcome their submissions.  A great aspect about our scholarship is that it is not based on academic grades and is open to all who wish to applyhttps://www.solveyourdebts.com/english/scholarships/

Submissions can be made by email or mail only. Submissions by email must be sent to education@solveyourdebts.com and received no later than 5:00pm AST on April 15, 2022. Email attachments should be in Word, Excel or PDF format. Submissions sent via mail must be postmarked, regular delivery, no later than April 15, 2022.

Please find attached applications for Royal Canadian Legion Miramichi Br. 10 bursaries and for Royal Canadian Legion New Brunswick Command bursaries.

The scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a grade 12 student entering post-secondary in the 2022-2023 academic year, or a current postsecondary student who will be continuing their studies into the 2022-2023 academic year. Please see attachment for application requirements.

Storwell is offering an annual bursary of $2,000 in support of foster children to help them attend post-secondary schools and to offer a hand up as they make their way forward in life. Please see attachment for further information.

The myBlueprint Scholarships are now live and offer five (5) x $1,000 Scholarships to students in Grade 11 or 12.

The scholarship application will be open until May 28, 2022. Students can apply through their myBlueprint Account by clicking Tasks > Scholarships!

The NBHOA (New Brunswick Hockey Officials Association) now awards three (3) academic scholarships, they are named after long time NBHOA officials & directors Paul O’Blenis, Sonny McLellan Memorial and Scott
McKay Memorial each for the value of $1000.00 each. To be eligible to receive one of
these scholarships you must be an NBHOA Official in good standing, a grade 12
student who is graduating and attending a recognized post-secondary institution in the
upcoming year.

The IWK Foundation invites applications for the Robbie and Jean Shaw Scholarship. This award consists of a non-renewable scholarship valued at minimum $2,000.

Eligible applicants are current or former IWK patients who have an academic average of 75 per cent or higher and who are entering their first year of post-secondary studies.

 

The deadline to apply is Friday, March 11, 2022.

 

The Robbie and Jean Shaw Scholarship Fund was created by a group of dedicated donors interested in paying tribute to the Shaw family for their long-term commitment to making the world a better place.

 

Specifically, Robbie and Jean love the IWK and they believe in the potential and passion of every young person to make a meaningful difference, in part, thanks to a strong educational foundation. IWK children and youth have a special place in Robbie and Jean's hearts because of their long term professional and volunteer experience with the IWK and the IWK Foundation.
