The Miramichi Kinsmen and Anglophone North School District are pleased to accept film entries for the Third Annual Kin Film Festival. All students in ASD-N are invited to participate. Students may submit films in one or both of the two categories.
The first category is the Kin Category. Films in this category will address the theme “Doing the Right Thing”.
The second category is the Open Category. Films of any genre or subject matter can be submitted to this category.
The top films selected in each category will be screened.
In celebration of Cultural Awareness Day on April 25, 2013 students, staff and community member filled the gymnasium, at North and South Esk Regional High School, in Sunny Corner for the second annual mini Powwow organized by Native Education Support Worker, Jennifer Black. Bright colors, beads, feathers, drumming and dancers of all ages set the scene for the celebration.
Approximately every minute of every day, someone in Canada benefits from donated blood. NSER is hosting an evening clinic on Thursday, May 16th from 5pm to 8pm. You must be 17 years of age, in general good health, and at least 50kg. If any tattoos or piercings have been done recently, you may be excluded.
