Rain and cold winds will
not stop us!!! The OP class has been very active in September focusing on
advanced paddling skills and canoe safety. We portaged the school
canoes down to the shore and have been using them ever since. Students
have practiced both Boat over Boat rescue and Parallel rescue with
canoes. They have practiced switching positions in a canoe and switching

school that gives back, NSER is once again participating in Trick or Eat. This
will be the third year that the Rotary Interact club has organized this event

had the pleasure of having our Member of Parliament, Tilly O'Neill-Gordon visit
our school on Tuesday. Ms. O'Neill-Gordon was so impressed by our school. She
commented many times on how clean it was, how polite and friendly the students

'whoosh' sound. The whoosh bottle essentially mimics a rocket engine.
Chemistry students can measure the amount of ethanol combusted and the amount
of water produced to determine the reaction efficiency, while Physics classes
