All students are reminded that student fee's ($25.00) and sports fee's are overdue to be paid. Students who have not paid fee's will not be able to attend or participate in any school sponsored extra curricular activity. Please see your homeroom teacher, or Mrs. Gorbett in the main office to make payment.
Trick or EatIn an effort to be a school that gives back, NSER has taken on a new project this year. All students and staff are encouraged to participate. On Halloween night (Monday, Oct. 31) students will be going door to door collecting non-perishable food items for the Miramich Food Bank. We will meet at the school at 4:30pm for registration and will "Trick or Eat" from 5-7pm. Our goal is to raise $2500 worth of food items in Sunny Corner and surrounding communities. If any parents would like to participate by driving students, or for further information, please contact Chantal Lavigne.
Rotary Interact ClubNSER is the sixth school in the province to start a Rotary Interact Club. Sponsored by the Newcastle Rotary Club, the the club is dedicated to community and international service through various projects. You are invited to attend the MVHS AARAO Career Expo, taking place the evening of October 12th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Miramichi Valley High School gym. Over 40 universities, colleges, and private schools from the Atlantic Provinces will be there with information and to answer any of your questions and concerns.
The NSER "We School" are participating in their first fundraiser. On Wednseday and Thursday Oct 5 & 6 the Middle School students will be selling bake sale goods at break and lunch time. Please support this great cause!

There will be a PSSC meeting for all members Wednesday, September 28 at 7pm in the school library. All members are encouraged to attend.
