“Stress-less Wednesdays” at NSER

Our Grade 7, Grade 8, and 10A students participated in our school STEM Fair on Wednesday, March 21st.  Our students worked very hard on their experiments, innovations, and case study projects.  We will be sending groups onto the District STEM Fair this Saturday, which takes place at JMH.  We wish them the best of luck!

Our Grade 7 Students will be having a showcase of the products that they have made over the past few weeks as part of the Young Entrepreneurs Program.  Products will be on display and for sale on Thursday, March 1 from 9:00 - 11:00 am in the school cafeteria.  Everyone is welcome.

It is Winter Carnival Week @ NSER.  We will be having theme days this week and a school dance on Thursday.
Twin Day - Monday
Denim Day - Tuesday
Dress like Elementary - Wednesday and Wednesday Evening is our Annual Cobra Cup - Alumni vs. Grads at 7pm
Thursday - Crazy sock day
Friday - Casual (PJ's or sweats)

One of the biggest hurdles for anyone suffering from mental illness is overcoming the stigma attached to it. The annual Bell Let’s Talk awareness campaign and Day is driving the national conversation to help reduce this stigma and promote awareness and understanding and talking is an important first step towards lasting change.  NSER will be supporting Bell Let's Talk!

NSER and Miramichi Community Food Bank Awarded $50,000 News Release  Education and Early Childhood Development Tourism, Heritage and Culture Canada 150 High School Legacy project recipients announced.

FREDERICTON (GNB) – Funding grants totaling $500,000 have been awarded to eight high schools as part of the Canada 150 High School Legacy project.
