Week 3 of home learning will focus on common factoring and factoring simple trinomials. Lesson 4 provides a review of common factoring from where we left off in class. Lesson 5 explains how to factor simple trinomials. Work through the examples given in Lesson 4 & 5 then complete the common factoring worksheet and the two worksheets provided on factoring simple trinomials. You will find extra practice questions in the textbook cited in the lesson if you are having difficulty with the assignment. I have also set up the class on Brain Genie. Week 1 of home learning will focus on solving problems with measurement using the Imperial and SI systems . Lesson 1 introduces you to the Imperial Measurement system and conversions. Lesson 2 gives examples of conversion between the two measurement systems. Please go through Lesson 1 and 2 then complete the 2 worksheets on unit conversions. When you have a good understanding of unit conversions proceed to the Lesson 1 & 2 assignment. Included also with the documents is a formula/conversion sheet. This will be needed for the remainder of the course. You will find extra practice questions in the textbook cited in the lesson if you are having difficulty with the assignment.
