Math 9 Week 6

Week 6 of home learning will focus on identifying and graphing linear relations . We will be using Module 7.  Please go through Focus 2 in the module and complete the graphing review sheet and BLM 4.2 . You will find extra practice questions in the textbook cited in the module if you are having difficulty with the assignment. I have set everyone up on Brain Genie also. The web link for this can also be found on my teacher page. Email me and I will send you a username & password if you wish to access our class.

Financial & Workplace Math 110

Week 5 of home learning will focus on finding the interest and future value of an investment or loan using simple interest.  Notes with examples are included in Simple Interest notes. Please go through the lesson then complete Simple Interest Worksheet. Answers to Simple Interest Worksheet are to be completed and submitted by Friday for students working on a credit in the course. Extra questions from the textbook are included in the lessons if you wish to have more practice.

Week 5 of home learning will focus on solving problems involving temperature and mass conversions using the Imperial and SI measurement systems. Week 5 of home learning will focus on factoring special types of polynomials.  Lesson 7 gives an explanation and examples of factoring difference of squares binomials and perfect square trinomials.  Work through the examples given in Lesson 7 then complete the worksheet on factoring special cases. To review all the types of factoring covered , complete the sheet of factoring review questions. You will find extra practice questions in the textbook cited in the lesson if you are having difficulty with the assignment. I have also set up the class on Brain Genie.
